Welcome to the 1,000-point club. Kortney Kin was honored by Wilmington College prior to Friday's opening game of the Wilmington Inn/Damon's Tip-Off Tournament.

Kin (Upper Sandusky/Riverdale) eclipsed the 1,000-point career scoring plateau with a 28-point performance at John Carroll late last season. Friday's game was Wilmington's first home game since the senior post player's milestone performance.

On Friday, Kin was presented a game ball by WC President Dan DiBiasio to commemorate her entrance to the 1,000-point club.

A 2009 All-American and Preseason All-American, Kin scored 29 points in Wilmington's two games in the season-opening tournament to bring her career total to 1,071.
