Beth Floyd was named senior woman administrator and head softball coach at Wilmington College in June of 2007.
Prior to her arrival on the WC campus, Floyd was the varsity softball coach and athletic director at (Leesburg) Fairfield High School.
Floyd assists the administration of Wilmington’s 21 intercollegiate teams and oversees game management and NCAA compliance.
A 1993 graduate of University of Rio Grande, Floyd compiled a 171-73 record at Fairfield High School. Her teams won four Southern Hills League titles, nine sectional championships, two district crowns and made two “Sweet 16” and one “Elite Eight” appearances. She was named SHL coach of the year three times.
In her first two seasons at Wilmington, the Quakers have started to climb the OAC ladder. In her first season, Floyd led WC to nine wins, including an upset victories over nationally ranked Mount Union and eventual conference champion John Carroll.

Gina Schneider is in her third season as the assistant softball coach at Wilmington College.
Coach Schneider has been coaching softball for the past five years. In addition to coaching at Wilmington College, she has also coached a competitive 18U travel team in the summer.
Coach Schneider played collegiate softball at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. While at Ohio Dominican University Coach Schneider was an All-American third baseman for the Panthers.
Schneider has received many awards throughout her career such as: Region IX Player of the Year, 3 time first team all conference, as well as making the all freshman team. In Coach Schneider’s junior year at Ohio Dominican University she led the nation in home runs. She currently holds 14 offensive records at Ohio Dominican University.
At Wilmington College she is in charge of hitting for the Quakers.

Mark Huelsman joined the WC coaching staff in 2007.
Huelsman is a 2007 Wittenberg University and earned three varsity letters playing for the Tigers men’s basketball team. He was a member of Wittenberg’s 2006 national runner-up team.
Huelsman’s understanding of the game and ability to communicate with players are invaluable as he works with Wilmington’s talented group of post players. Huelsman also assists in Wilmington’s recruiting efforts.
"Mark is an outstanding coach," Wilmington head coach Jerry Scheve said. "In his first two seasons with our program, he has developed two All-Americans."
